Challenge

As inflation continued to grow, markets fluctuated and manufacturers began passing down higher prices to their buyers and consumers, our client came to us to upskill their supply chain and sourcing team.

They wanted a thorough and intensive training program that would equip their team with the necessary skills to avoid increased costs, engage in strategic supplier management, and, ultimately, drive value through cost savings and risk mitigation.

Strategy

Sourcing IQ gave them just that and more. We developed a custom training program (as we do with each of our training clients) that allowed all team members to discuss real-life challenges they faced with their suppliers and costs, and improved their confidence, techniques and results.

The Sourcing IQ training program combined theory, a relevant playbook and in-person exercises. As we worked through the session, we ensured that we utilized suggestions and outcomes to tailor the playbook in real-time and ensure it could evolve and be used for the nuances of the client’s ongoing needs.
